Your weapon will be good. I recommend buying a new choke tube, so you can receive the full bonus, and probably will be wide open with your shotgun patterns at different distances to see the range of his pistol to effective combinations of shell. From 20, go 30, 40 yards. Buy Turkey target pattern and count the number of tablets that the death zone on the neck and head taken. I hope at least, 6-10 pellets in the stomach with a density of granules good circle of 12 cm. If you do not get it, you're trying to be a new kind of screen or with a small head start - Make sure legal. If not you can buy another tube, only its method of maximum tube current.

Camo is a necessity, or blind. Stores are hidden body and great movement, but they are very mobile. Cover your face with a mask painting or hunting - Turkey have excellent eyesight.

Try simplifying the calls - youwant at least 2 types, because they too are working differently. The easiest to use is called a box and push / pull. I like the slate call is used, some people live in the complaint of the mouth. Simply select the ones you can use effectively.

Baits are not required but may be helpful to distract the toms. Not always effective - if you find tom of 100 meters, are the lures, the best, if not, until then 40 meters away.

Some issues are issues of safety - on foot flashlight, white, a knife, what the emergency phone, orange fire for retirement and after death.

People were less Bucks shooting for an extended period. The key is not frustrated and looking before the hunt. If you know where are the turkey, before hunting an area that will help you if you will have on the clock.

Good luck and have fun!

The best thing to do is go with someone who has experience. Turkey is like hunting deer hunting. It requires a different skill level.
Have you learned to call a turkey yet? if not .. You need to learn .. There are different types of calls .. Box calls, diaphragm calls (many of them) .. Buy a tape to listen and practice .. better yet, a trainer can find online.
They will not mention well with the indicator 20 ( "going to happen, they drown), but has a 12-gauge with a fixed throttle as soon as possible.
Camouflage ... You have to try and cover up that matches your environment. A lot of special weapons are camouflaged in Turkey and other boys who work as camouflage.
Hunting Wild Turkey is a big investment ... Time, money and equipment wise.
Use paint and / or gloves camouflage ... etc. etc.
My advice is still an experienced hunter and Turkey to learn as much as possible to go as much as possible.
Good luck.
